Here's a simple little Dotee doll I made for an exchange. She's all done up in pink. Dotee dolls must have a hanger and a tail and their overall length should be about 3 to 5 inches. This one didn't have a theme, just maker's choice. The next thing exchange I'm participating in is a Dotee doll kit swap. I need to get together a kit with faces, fabric and embellishments for 2 Dotee dolls and send it off. I can't wait to see what I get from my partner.

I just got this in the mail from Amazon.com. It has patterns for the cutest animals. They're all fairly small and include owls, a fox, hedgehogs, a squirrel, a badger and an otter holding a fish, to name a few. This book has great creatures made out of discarded clothing. They are very cute but also of a fairly large size. I think they would make a great gift for an older child to keep as a night time companion or sit on their bed for decoration. One thing about the book that's a bit misleading is its subtitle 'Lovable Friends for You to Sew, Knit, or Crochet'. I only see one rabbit whose body is knitted and nothing that's crocheted.
